Duties will include: develop and implement Lean Manufacturing principles in the manufacturing environment; drive Relentless Root Cause Analysis on nonconformances identified in the manufacturing process and implement the corrective actions that result; evaluate new business opportunities from a manufacturing perspective to ensure accurate costing models; maintain and evaluate Statistical Process Control for the key characteristics of the products supported; evaluate turnbacks (issues in the manufacturing process) and lead the implementation of corrective actions to eliminate those turnbacks; and identify and lead projects that will provide significant process improvement.
