Our client is one of the world's largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products. We design, manufacture and service systems and components and provide integrated solutions for commercial, regional, business and military aircraft, helicopters and other platforms. We are also a major supplier to international space programs.
We are seeking an HR Manager reporting to the Senior Leader of Human Resources. This key HR leadership position will be based in Vergennes, VT and serves as HR Business Partner to Sensors & Integrated Systems, supporting primarily our VT business and also our cross-business HR initiatives to drive consistency of application of human capital efforts.
This position will require excellent analytical skills as well people development skills and will support our leadership in all facets of developing appropriate human resources plans in support of key business needs in a dynamic, changing environment.
The ideal candidate will be able to implement appropriate change management plans as required.
Will serve as a strategic business partner to ensure HR strategies are aligned to support the business strategies and objectives.
The position will be accountable for driving HR / business projects and initiatives across all client groups including, but not limited to: Talent and succession planning; Performance management; Strategic Workforce planning; Organizational design & integration; Mentoring; Leadership development; Employee recognition programs
Will provide advice and counsel to HR and leadership teams in change management, employee engagement, performance management, career development and salary administration.
Will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to attract and retain diverse talent as well support rationalization initiatives to achieve business objectives.
Will ensure leadership and employees are informed of the HR policies and practices, programs and proposed changes that affect employees and/or operational effectiveness.
Must be able to drive continuous improvement and lean activities to improve organizational effectiveness.
Additional Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in related field required (Master's Degree preferred)
SHRM Certification preferred
If Bachelor's Degree, a minimum of six years of progressive HR experience with at least two years previous leadership experience; or Master's Degree with minimum of four years of prgoressive HR experience with at least two years of previous leadership experience.
Has the ability to perform complex analytics, identify trend analyses and interpret data, driving business recommendations
Proven ability to manage a wide variety of HR programs, change management and roll-out of corporate HR initiatives.
Proven ability to change the business through creative problem-resolution, policy creation or lean efforts.
Proven ability to build effective partnerships with leadership teams and employees.
Strong project management and organizational skills, bias for action and results orientation.
Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
Strong interpersonal savvy and composure especially in critical events
Has in-depth knowledge of / skills in the content areas of:
The clients' business objectives, organization, political realities, industry and key business challenges

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
