Responsibilities
Product Support Engineers are responsible for being technical experts in their assigned product lines at a system and component level.
As part of the Product Support team, the Product Support Engineer will be assigned specific product lines for which they will be the primary support engineer. In this role, they are responsible for having a detailed understanding of the related contractual requirements of the applicable Product Support Agreements. Product Support Engineers are customer facing employees who must be able to balance customer expectations with the needs of the business.
As a Product Support Engineer it will be your responsibility to ensure that our airline and OEM customers are satisfied, relative to their expectations of Product Support including the following:
Technical Support of SIS products and systems
Product and System Troubleshooting (on-aircraft and in the maintenance shop)
Maintenance Data and Documentation
Organizational communication
Training Data and Materials
Hardware knowledge and
Systems analysis.
A Product Support Engineer is accountable for the duties assigned relative to:
Providing Technical Support and Troubleshooting for fielded SIS products and systems to Airlines, OEMs and other customers as appropriate.
Providing Customer and Employee training regarding SIS Products and Systems
Monitoring of product reliability
Supporting installation design and support for the new and retrofit systems that we design and produce to include kit definition.
Creating and Revising Maintenance Documentation and configuration control of SIS Products and Systems
Support to the design and certification of new Products and Systems
Analysis of new product maintainability, reliability, direct maintenance costs and associated penalty predictions.
General support to customer needs - as required
In addition, this role will require individual to engage with SIS and UTAS leadership and is intended to offer the opportunity for growth into a leadership role.
Travel required as needed - typically 0-10%.
Qualifications
BS or MS Electrical Engineering
5-10 years experience in the Aerospace Industry.
The candidate must have strong communication skills and be able to successfully work with a wide variety of customers (internal and external to the company), including airlines based throughout the world.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
