Responsibilities
The International Trade Compliance Associate is responsible to verify that business activities are fully compliant with International Trade Compliance (ITC) regulations. Ensure adherence to all corporate policies pertaining to trade compliance issues through audit /assessment programs and initiate actions to address them. Manage licensing and agreement activities, and maintain applicable trade compliance records in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements. Duties may also include: responding to trade compliance questions in the department, providing support to investigations, developing/managing technology control plans (TCPs) and managing jurisdiction/classification activities and import/export authorizations.
Incumbent's responsibilities will generally focus on one or more of the following:
-Import/Export Regulatory Compliance
-License Administration
-Agreement Administration
-Jurisdiction/Classification Activities
Level of Responsibility:
-Assigned to a variety of projects or tasks within functional discipline
- Manage licensing and agreement activities, and maintain applicable trade compliance records in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements. Duties may also include: responding to trade compliance questions in the department, providing support to investigations, developing/managing technology control plans (TCPs) and managing jurisdiction/classification activities and import/export authorizations.
Qualifications
4 year degree required, preferably within a technical or legal field Strong technical or legal aptitude desired
Prefer a minimum of 2 years of experience in related international trade discipline:
-Import/Export Regulatory Compliance
-License Administration
-Agreement Administration
-Jurisdiction/Classification Activities
- Must be US Citizen
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Strong computer skills.
