We are seeking an enthusiastic Supply Chain Professional to assist with ongoing projects with respect to supplier development, supplier negotiations, and commodity management in the field of supply chain management in a highly paced, professional manufacturing facility. .
The role of an intern in the Supply Chain group will involve working with supplier and customers to develop commercial relationships while supporting the products purchased to support the entire manufacturing facility. Key customers supported will be engineering, operations, and program management in our quest to provide on time/error free products to our external aerospace customers. This type of role is an opportunity to work in an aerospace environment providing the incumbent the opportunity to learn the products and
services
sources by our organization.
As a member of the Supply Chain group, this intern will also have exposure to:
Working supplier issues with internal quality assurance personnel
Some possible travel to suppliers to perform root cause analysis
customer requests and project initiated to support these requests
